Sterling has plopped down on the couch with a book. No, it's not leisure reading. It's homework.
20 minutes a day and one paragraph about what was read. In the intense quiet that is now, I am looking around.
This afternoon, I have already vacuumed, done laundry, cleaned the coffee table, dusted and cleaned my bathroom.
I'm not OCD. The size of my place intensifies any clutter and I get tired of asking him to pick up.
On the ground is a single shoelace and a paper airplane. Next to it, are a pair of not put away shoes. Hanging from a dining room chair is a coat. On a barstool is a baseball cap. On a bench is an open cell phone. Leaning on the wall is a skateboard.
