I went to Sterling's school today to drop off $$ for his lunch. When I got into the office I was greeted by the office manager. I let her know I needed to pull Sterling out of class for a moment as I had something to give him. She obliged, and called down to Sterling's classroom and let me know it would be a couple of minutes until he arrived. I thanked her and walked to the corner of the office and pulled out my phone and started checking my emails.
"I see where Sterling gets his good looks", she said.
(When I get nervous, my sense of humor kicks in...sometimes not for the better.) "I'll let his mother know that she has been complimented", I responded.
Mike, you are a jackass! The lady was flirting with you and you didn't realize it until that garbage came out of your mouth. No recovery from that one.
