Sterling is a child of technology. He loves technology. Alot of kids do. Internet sales companies know this and prey on kids interest in computers/technology/internet.
Sterling's mom called a couple of days to let him know that her current phone bill was over $400. I could hear her screaming at him over the phone. She was telling him that he took some test or something like it on Facebook. Whatever he did, it charged her phone service. (he has his phone through her service)
He took the test, gave his phone number to continue and some internet scam company billed his ma's phone service. Funny!
I did this one time. Sterling did this to me also. He used my phone number and I got charged. I found out about it when my phone bill came. I told everyone about it. I remember telling Sterling's ma.
When the phone call was over I was laughing at her. He did something he wasn't supposed to, got caught and paid the price...the wrath of Rhonda.
When this happened to me...I didn't have a balance anywhere near $400. Hmmmmmmm.
