Pete Townsend

We were watching the Super Bowl tonight. The halftime festivities included The Who.
Lead guitar for The Who is Pete Townsend. It was Pete Townsend, 40+ years ago, that made "the windmill" famous. (I don't know if it is known as "The Windmill"...but that's the motion his arm makes while playing.)
Round and round his arm went in a circular motion while playing. At one point, 4 or 5 times in a row.
When Sterling saw this, he announced with disgust, "THAT'S original."
"It is original", I said, "he was the first person that became known for doing that."
"HE WAS THE FIRST? I guess I was right...that IS original", he said proudly.
